Biography
Rachelle Ramm is a contagious, high energy persona, born to entertain. Raised in the San Francisco Bay Area, she grew up influenced by many iconic Rock legends, Janis Joplin, Led Zeppelin, The Doors, Pat Benetar, Jimi Hendrix. In 2006 she teamed up with Hank Shermann (Mercyful Fate) in Copenhagen, Denmark. They began composing many songs for Rachelle’s debut solo release. In her first year breaking into the music scene, she joined Jerry Lee Lewis on a leg of his European tour.
“Singing & performing has always been my passion, Now my focus is to live this dream and give it 110% every day“. After 15 years of competitive swimming and love for Extreme Sports, I’m constantly seeking challenges and pushing the limits. Creating music and singing is the greatest adrenaline rush flowing from my heart & soul.
The debut release “CITY OF SIN”, is the DIY blood, sweat, and tears of Hank Shermann and Rachelle Ramm. Their hard work creating the foundation of music, videos, websites, and images are captivating many audiences. Sitting for months in the top 3 Alternative Rock charts in both Artistopia and the top 5 for Artist direct, the ultimate band lists, provide early and stable results. A video for the title track “City of Sin” was recently shot in Berlin, Germany.
The music is Sexy ‘No Limits’ Rock with Attitude. Rachelle’s sound is a cocktail of sensual, provocative, yet powerful vocals infused with infectious guitar riffs. It’s a spicy determined Hard Rock sound, influenced by bands like Soundgarden, Rob Zombie, Ann Wilson (Heart), and the Foo Fighters. The songs are about self empowerment, instincts, and desires. It’s a feel good party about taking hold of life, exploring guilty pleasures and creating who you are.
Slated for 2008 is the new single “Asphalt Lucky Lust”, as well as new recordings, and promotional showcases.
